We are Jesse and Mikala - Sunshine Coast based destination wedding photographers. We offer professional and highly creative wedding photography with a relaxed, natural, artistic and elegant photojournalistic style. The Sunshine Coast (Noosa Heads, Noosa Main Beach, Coolum, Maroochydore, Mooloolaba, Caloundra, Maleny, Montville, Flaxton, Yandina and The Sunshine Coast Hinterland), Brisbane, Gold Coast, Byron Bay and Fraser Island are where we generally photograph wedding ceremonies and receptions. But we love to travel throughout Queensland and Australia and welcome destination weddings around the world. We have recently photographed weddings in Fiji, Ireland, New Zealand and throughout the Sunshine Coast, Queensland and Australia. We're seasoned photographers and travellers. In fact we've travelled to and photographed over 50 countries around our beautiful globe. We also photograph elopements and small intimate weddings. Family, baby, newborn, birth and pet are areas of photography we absolutely love to shoot too!
There are so many beautiful wedding ceremony and reception venues to choose from across the Sunshine Coast, Queensland region. From Noosa to Caloundra to Mooloolaba to Maleny - We're spoilt for choice on the Sunshine Coast. You can enjoy a beach or hinterland wedding; rainforest or waterfall; mountain or stream. Some of our favourite venues are the majestic Maleny Manor, Uluramaya Retreat Cabins (with an amazing view of the Glasshouse Mountains), Spicers Clovelly Estate, Flaxton Gardens, Weddings at Tiffanys, Maleny Retreat, Noosa Blue Resort, Pelican Waters Golf Resort and Spa, Sails Restaurant Noosa, Twin Waters, The Buderim Tavern, Sea Life Mooloolaba, The Surf Club Mooloolaba, The Lakehouse Sunshine Coast, The Birdcage, The Prideaux Estate (a beautiful Sunshine Coast wedding chapel in Ilkley).
Our focus is always on capturing those special wedding moments - The secret smile between the bride and groom or the tears shed by a parent as the bride is walking down the isle.
When you choose two of us to photograph your wedding day, we photograph double the amount of these priceless moments for you. For most of your wedding day we will be in the background photographing and sometimes you may not even notice we are there. We do however give you some direction for family photos and couple portraits after your wedding ceremony. We like to let your day and story unfold naturally, without interference from your wedding photographers.
We also now offer one photographer wedding packages if you are inviting a relatively small number of family and friends to your wedding or if you would like to keep your photography budget down.
In the past few years our elopement packages have become very popular. Itβs a beautiful way to marry your favourite person in the world in a very private and intimate way. Our drone generally makes an appearance at each wedding that we photograph. Our drone service is free of charge with every full coverage wedding package that we offer. Photographs taken with a drone capture a wonderfully unique and creative aspect from your wedding day, particularly for couple and bridal party portraits. All the wedding guests LOVE it when our drone makes an appearance in the sky! Wedding drone photos take wedding photography to an entirely new level, in more ways than one.

AWARD WINNING SUNSHINE COAST, QUEENSLAND,
AUSTRALIAN PHOTOGRAPHERS
In the first issue of Queensland Brides in 2020, some of our wedding photos (including drone shots) have been featured in a special article about Sunshine Coast weddings.
We placed 3rd in the International Wedding Photographer of the Year Awards in 2019 (From Above category). The winning photo was one of our drone wedding photography images taken on Fraser Island (Kingfisher Bay Resort.
2019 also saw us take home another Fearless Award for a drone photo we took at Maleny Retreat, under a gorgeous old tree with no leaves, in the middle of winter.
In the Junebug 2017 Best of the Best Wedding Photography Contest we won an Honorable Mention for the photo above. This means our drone photo taken on The Sunshine Coast (Yabbaloumba Retreat) has been placed in the Top 100 worldwide of over 9000 photos. YAY!
In 2017 we won two Fearless Awards for our wedding photography which we are OVER THE MOON about. One of the Fearless Award photos was taken at iconic Sunshine Coast location One Tree Hill which is in Maleny. One Tree Hill overlooks the stunning Glasshouse Mountains and on the day we photographed the award winning wedding photo there was an epic storm heading towards us.
Our most recent Fearless Photographers Award was taken with our trusty drone at the Eco Yabbaloumba Retreat near Kenilworth. Yabbaloumba Retreat is one of the Sunshine Coast's hidden gems and is perfect for the eco and boho style brides looking for a natural, country style wedding. Yabbaloumba is also a wedding photographer's playground for spectacular drone wedding photos capturing your special day in a very unique way.
We are ecstatic with winning these wedding photography awards and look forward to chatting to you further about being your wedding photographers whether it be on the Sunshine Coast, around Australia or in a country overseas.
We won Runner Up in the 2016 Australian Bridal Industry Awards (ABIAs) and missed winning by just .04%! We were joined in the Photography category by some amazing Australian wedding photographers and were beyond honoured to have achieved running up.
