2016 has been a HUGE year of wedding photography for us! We've explored some gorgeous cities, venues and properties for the weddings we photographed from Fraser Island & Stradbroke Island to The Sunshine Coast to Brisbane, Toowoomba, The Gold Coast, Byron Bay, Bangalow and beyond.
The love stories we have witnessed between the couples we've worked with have been nothing short of uplifting, moving, gut-wrenching and inspiring.
Mikala and I often say to each other after finishing a wedding that we feel like part of the bride's and groom's families - creepy but true :) We always get swept up in the relationships and emotions of what is one of the absolute most important days of their lives.
We really have met, worked and bonded with some extraordinarily loving souls this year. If we happen to bump into any of you (brides and grooms) post wedding, we're not stalking you just because we miss you and want to hang out with you some more - promise :)
The happiest of new years and a prosperous 2017 to all of you and to the amazing duo's we framed throughout 2016 in our camera lenses. Keep on loving each other just like the day you were married and we'll see some of you when we're the photographers at your friend's weddings soon!

Best of 2015 - Australian Wedding Photographer
What a year it has been! We have worked with so many beautiful couples and heard the most heartwarming and inspiring stories along the way. We've had the privilege of photographing stunning Australian weddings from The Sunshine Coast (Queensland) to Byron Bay (New South Wales) to Melbourne (Victoria).
Some of our favourite wedding moments from 2015 are below. 2016 is looking to be an amazing year of weddings. We're starting the new year photographing a Sunshine Coast Hinterland wedding in Maleny and on Queenland's gorgeous Fraser Island!

A Brisbane Couple's Bangalow, Byron Bay Hinterland Wedding - Australian Photographer
As photographers, we love to travel to any destination worldwide to shoot a wedding. In saying that, we do have some of the best wedding destinations right in our Australian backyard. One of these is without a doubt Bangalow, near Byron Bay (3 hours drive from the Sunshine Coast).
Bangalow is blanketed with open rolling green hills, lush subtropical Australian rainforest and beaming sunshiny days.
Bonnie & Patrick's (Brisbane based) Bangalow wedding encapsulated all of what makes up this beautiful area just minutes from Byron Bay, without the Byron crowds. The sun shone the entire day. Smiles were plastered across the guests faces from start to end.
This was a magical wedding day in the Byron Bay Hinterland - a top Australian wedding destination.

This stunning vintage dress was made by the bride's mother and worn with the most extraordinary backdrop of the Glasshouse Mountains in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.
Torrential rain did not stop this lovely bride enjoying her wedding day and getting the most out of her dress on beautiful Mooloolaba Beach, Sunshine Coast (Queensland).
