The Chapel Montville is a dream wedding venue in the middle of the Sunshine Coast hinterland with expansive views from Caloundra to Noosa beaches and beyond. It is without a doubt that this bride and groom chose their wedding venue well and married in one of Queenslandβs most beautiful chapels and locations for a ceremony.
Jess and her bridesmaids got ready just a few minutes down the road from The Chapel Montville in the chic Altitude on Montville. Their makeup was perfected by the highly talented Natalie Hunter Makeup Artist while their hair styles were perfectly crafted by the wonderful Hair by Nicola.
Kirk and his groomsmen prepped themselves quite close to the gorgeous wedding venue also. There were plenty of laughs with this trio while getting ready but no makeup artist or hair stylist in sight. Maybe they had just left before we arrived? Because they were looking super dapper.
The ceremony time arrived and the grand entrance by Jess and her Dad was EPIC. The enormous and intricately carved wooden doors opened to reveal Jess and her Dad who made their way slowly down the chapel isle.
The bride and groom were joined by family and friends from around the country. The nervousness and excitement filled the room and was accentuated by plenty of joyful laughter and heartfelt vows.
And then there was the kiss!
We went outside post-kiss to take some family photos and a group shot. It was then that we stole the bride and groom along with their bridesmaids and groomsmen, took a few photographs of them around The Chapel Montville grounds then headed off to Lake Baroon.
The lake was stunning (just in front of Secrets on the Lake which is also a wedding venue) and the surrounding forest was gorgeous which made for some beautiful bridal party photos and couple photographs of just the newly crowned, husband and wife.
We travelled back to tudor-style Montville Cafe Bar and Grill where all the wedding guests were waiting on the top level to welcome the elated couple back in their presence. The venue was expertly styled and run by very professional staff which made for a very welcoming atmosphere. There were some ridiculously hilarious speeches that made the guests roar with laughter coupled with large portions of gourmet food - such a great combo!
The night rolled on with the brilliantly funny wedding shoe game, a relaxed cake cutting and first dance finishing with some awesome dance moves or more to the point, dance faces!
What a fantastic tribe Jess and Kirk have surrounding them for their journey through life together as a married couple, husband and wife.
We wish you all the love in the world Jess & Kirk!
Big Love & Enjoy!

Gabbinbar Homestead, Toowoomba Wedding - Sunshine Coast Photographers - Kirsten & Matt
Kirsten and Mattβs wedding at the award winning Gabbinbar Homestead was a dream come true to say the least. This bride and groom share a love that is magnetic, honest, joyful and generous.
From the moment we met the super happy couple in a cafe on the Sunshine Coast, we knew their wedding would be something very special. And it truly was!
The groom Matt got ready with his groomsmen and groomslady in an awesome hotel in downtown Toowoomba. While Kirsten and her bridesmaidβs got their hair and makeup perfected in the brideβs retreat at Gabbinbar Homestead. This is one very opulent room with an oversized mirror and historical furniture and wallpaper.
Matt and his βgroomspersonsβ arrived and positioned themselves for the brideβs impending arrival under a very spectacular tree on the Gabbinbar grounds. Kirstenβs entrance was emotional and nothing short of epic and she looked absolutely stunning on her long walk to her soon-to-be husband.
There were tears sliding down cheeks all through the crowd when the bride and groom read their personalised vows to each other. They were oh so beautiful, laced with pure and loving promises. An epic kiss soon followed the coupleβs gorgeous words.
The coupleβs Mumβs both signed the marriage certificate which was a wonderful homage paid to these amazing women.
After the wedding ceremony we took some family and friend portrait photos with the new husband and wife team, followed by some fun shots with the bridal party. Then we ventured off around the immaculate Gabbinbar Homestead grounds taking some couple portraits with the bride and groom.
The wedding reception was absolutely stunning and styled perfectly!
During the reception all the wedding guests walked outside to the pavillion to give the bride and groom a sparkler entry to their first dance which was EPIC!
After this, we took the bride and groom out for some night photos at their request where we had some fun with smoke sticks, sparklers and smoke spray. Thankfully they were good at holding their breath.
Seriously, this wedding was utterly beautiful, so well planned and styled, full of gorgeous guests and all centred around two very special people who are completely in love.
We wish you all the love and happiness in the world Kirsten and Matt!
Big Love,

Tangalooma Island Resort, Moreton Island Wedding - Sunshine Coast, Australian Photographers - Kady & Erik
Kady and Erik flew all the way from Dubai to get married at Tangalooma Island Resort on the gorgeous tropical island of Moreton Island. Their friends and family flew to Australia form all around the world to join them and witness their stunning wedding day.
The bride and groom could not have hoped for a more perfect day for their wedding with blue skies surrounding the island. They both had their close friends and family with them as they were getting ready in gorgeous villas with spectacular ocean views. Tangalooma is most definitely a dream wedding venue.
There was a little rain just before their ceremony but that disappeared and left epic clouds for this awesome pair and their wedding nuptials. This was an emotional ceremony that was so full of love, sad and happy tears along with dozens of beautiful flowers.
After the ceremony we took off to the beach for some portraits with the bride and groom. Then we all got golf carted up the hill for some more photos amongst the trees and forest. Finally we ended up back on the beach for some drone photography. The boys from Trending Media Australia (videographer extraordinaires from Brisbane) also took some fantastic video footage of the now married duo. Oh and we took a few shots on the pier before heading to the wedding reception venue.
The night kicked on in the undercover reception. Hilarious speeches, gourmet food, spectacular floral displays and a 3-tiered cake featuring one super cute little canine. The night rounded out with a lovely first dance and then some wacky dancing which was an absolute blast!
We wish you all the love in the world Kady and Erik!
Big love to you,

Best Drone Wedding Photos of 2018 - Sunshine Coast Destination Aerial Photographers
Our drone has received quite a workout this year at the weddings weβve photographed across the Sunshine Coast - Noosa, Maleny, Montville, Mapleton, Caloundra, Nambour, Yandina, Valdora, Obi Obi, Maroochydore, Mooloolaba, Kawana, Point Cartwright, Point Arkwright, Coolum, Beerwah and more. But our trusty drone also travelled to Villa Botanica (Airlie Beach, The Whitsundays), Ireland, Portugal, London, Hong Kong and Melbourne.
We want to thank all the brides and grooms, bridesmaids, groomsmen, friends, family and randoms who trusted us as photographers and also who laid down on sand, grass, wood, rocks, pebbles, bridges, piers, boats, roads and dance floors to get THAT shot. We certainly have a lot of fun during the drone wedding and engagement photo sessions but also ironically our brides and grooms often comment that it was the most relaxing part of their wedding day.
Needless to say our trusty sidekick drone is taking some well earned R&R over the Christmas and New Year break.
Please enjoy some of our favourite drone moments captured at some stunning venues and locations around the world featuring some gorgeous newlyweds.
Merry Christmas and a super Happy New Year to you!
Big love,
Jesse & Mikala X
