Nicole and Elliot, affectionately known as Nic and El, married each other in an intimate heart-string tugging wedding ceremony overlooking their beloved local, Moffat Beach (Caloundra, Sunshine Coast).
The bride and groom prepped and preened themselves in gorgeous Caloundra beach shacks super close to their impending wedding ceremony. El had loads of his family and friends fly over from the UK to join him while Nic was joined by all of her beloveds from Victoria, Australia. They all became one big family on this highly emotional wedding day.
Nic arrived at the ceremony car park in her super cute little mini van with her bouquet out the window! One second she was laughing and the next crying - the emotions were running high seeing all of her friends and family and of course her one and only, El. Finally this awesome bride and groom were together and ready to say their vows and become husband and wife. The first kiss was gorgeous and topped off this wedding ceremony so perfectly.
Everyone made their way across the Caloundra Gem, Moffat Beach after the wedding. Some guests even opted to carry a pram… across the beach. Complete troopers innit. We took a few candid photos of the wedding guests and the bride and groom as they journeyed across the epic beach location.
Nic and El met everyone at The Pocket Espresso Bar which is one of the Sunshine Coast’s absolute gems. The newly married couple hugged, kissed and high fived their guests for a while until we took them out for a few more special wedding photos at the point. Our trusty drone made an appearance and took some spectacular photographs of the bride and groom. Nic and El jumped up just in time from lying down on the rocks before a wave washed right over where they had been lying. Phewww!
The night kicked on at the reception with some stellar speeches, ridiculously delicious food, brilliant live tunes followed by the entire crowd of friends and family singing and dancing to said brilliant live tunes.
What an epic wedding!!!
We wish you all the love, happiness and laughter in the world Nic and El!
Big love,

Maleny Retreat Wedding - Sunshine Coast, Australian Destination Photographers - Martina & Aaron
Martina and Aaron, two super kind souls, hosted their wedding with the ones they love dearly at Maleny Retreat. Breathtaking views of the Glasshouse Mountains, rolling hills and expansive grounds are some of the stunning features of this epic wedding venue.
The gorgeous bride and groom skipped many of the typical formalities at a wedding like speeches, a cake cutting and first dance. They asked us to focus on capturing candid moments throught their special day. So there are no getting ready photos and no formalities except for the ceremony which was run by lovely Cassie from Wish Ceremonies.
The ceremony was so sweet, with plenty of tears as the stunning bride was walking down the isle. Thankfully their trusty celebrant Cassie had some tissues to offer!
Martina and Aaron were congratulated by all of their guests after their ceremony then everyone made their way to the festival style reception, under a huge tent. There were games like giant jenga, giant connect four and croquet for the young ones and the young at heart! All the while the epic backdrop of Maleny to the Glasshouse Mountains and all the way to Brisbane was right there for all to enjoy.
Mikala stayed with the guests, capturing candid moments while I took off for a while with the newlyweds to take a few creative portraits around the spectacular Maleny Retreat property. The bride and groom were treated to not only a perfect day for their wedding but also a perfect sunset and evening - the weather was AMAZING.
The night kicked on with great food and wine from the boys at Something For Catering (seriously good food), loads of laughs, selfies and good old fashioned frivolity.
We wish you all the love in the world Martina and Aaron!
Big Love,

The Chapel Montville, Sunshine Coast Hinterland Wedding - Australian Photographers - Jess & Kirk
The Chapel Montville is a dream wedding venue in the middle of the Sunshine Coast hinterland with expansive views from Caloundra to Noosa beaches and beyond. It is without a doubt that this bride and groom chose their wedding venue well and married in one of Queensland’s most beautiful chapels and locations for a ceremony.
Jess and her bridesmaids got ready just a few minutes down the road from The Chapel Montville in the chic Altitude on Montville. Their makeup was perfected by the highly talented Natalie Hunter Makeup Artist while their hair styles were perfectly crafted by the wonderful Hair by Nicola.
Kirk and his groomsmen prepped themselves quite close to the gorgeous wedding venue also. There were plenty of laughs with this trio while getting ready but no makeup artist or hair stylist in sight. Maybe they had just left before we arrived? Because they were looking super dapper.
The ceremony time arrived and the grand entrance by Jess and her Dad was EPIC. The enormous and intricately carved wooden doors opened to reveal Jess and her Dad who made their way slowly down the chapel isle.
The bride and groom were joined by family and friends from around the country. The nervousness and excitement filled the room and was accentuated by plenty of joyful laughter and heartfelt vows.
And then there was the kiss!
We went outside post-kiss to take some family photos and a group shot. It was then that we stole the bride and groom along with their bridesmaids and groomsmen, took a few photographs of them around The Chapel Montville grounds then headed off to Lake Baroon.
The lake was stunning (just in front of Secrets on the Lake which is also a wedding venue) and the surrounding forest was gorgeous which made for some beautiful bridal party photos and couple photographs of just the newly crowned, husband and wife.
We travelled back to tudor-style Montville Cafe Bar and Grill where all the wedding guests were waiting on the top level to welcome the elated couple back in their presence. The venue was expertly styled and run by very professional staff which made for a very welcoming atmosphere. There were some ridiculously hilarious speeches that made the guests roar with laughter coupled with large portions of gourmet food - such a great combo!
The night rolled on with the brilliantly funny wedding shoe game, a relaxed cake cutting and first dance finishing with some awesome dance moves or more to the point, dance faces!
What a fantastic tribe Jess and Kirk have surrounding them for their journey through life together as a married couple, husband and wife.
We wish you all the love in the world Jess & Kirk!
Big Love & Enjoy!

Fraser Island, Queensland Wedding - Tennille & Trent - Sunshine Coast Destination Photographers
Fraser Island put on a beautiful morning for Trent and Tennille's wedding day - until it poured with rain. Then it stopped. Then it rained a little more. Thankfully the rain then stopped for the bride and groom's stunning wedding ceremony on Sunset Beach.
The ceremony arbour was so beautiful with a touch of extravagence and framed their wedding perfectly.
After the ceremony, the congratulations were cut short when we were told more rain was going to arrive in 30 minutes. So we whisked the bridal party away for some photos and managed to capture some couple portraits then ran for cover when the rain fell once again.
We then were treated to a rain-free period at sunset for more bridal party and couple portraits on the Kingfisher Bay Resort Pier and again on Sunset Beach. Thank you Fraser Island for keeping those rain clouds away for this time.
The celebrations kicked on with an epicly stunning and sparkly reception. Tennille was in her absolute element amongst all the shimmer, shine and sparkle which represented her so perfectly.
The bride and groom were surrounded by an amazing bunch of their family and friends. One of the highlights was definitely Trent's grandpa who got the entire room laughing during his speech. And also THAT dress Tennille wore was so spectacular during their first dance.
We wish you all the happiness in the world Tennille and trent!
Enjoy...
