Angela and Taidgh held their wedding on gorgeous Fraser Island, at Kingfisher Bay Resort. This multi award winning destination eco wedding resort created the perfect backdrop for these two adventurous, outdoor lovers to tie the knot.
The bride and groom both got ready in different locations to leave the big wedding dress reveal until Angela was walking down the isle.
The gorgeous bride looked breathtaking walking down the natural path to Sunset Beach (a must visit when on Fraser Island - what a destination!) where her groom was waiting in anticipation. Their wedding ceremony was so beautiful, marked by lovely vows and plenty of laughs!
Sealed with a kiss and signing of the marriage papers and certificate, this awesome bride and groom walked back down the isle and were showered by VERY enthusiastic petal throwers!
Post wedding ceremony we whisked the bridal party away after their group and family photos to various locations around Kingfisher Bay Resort. One location the newly married couple wanted to take photos at was on the pier. They got a member of their bridal party to drive the beloved jeep onto the end of the pier where we captured some beautiful, epic and spontaneous moments, with the moon too!
Laughter was a staple at this bride and groom’s wedding reception, held at the Dingo Den just down by the water. The speeches were hilarious and heartwarming all at the same time. The cake was definitely not your ordinary wedding cake. Wait until you see the photos of this beauty! Oh and the bouquet toss was nothing short of epic - what a BATTLE.
This was one very special and epic, fun-filled day for Angela and Taidgh - two very special people who are so very in love.
Congratulations again guys. We wish you all the love and happiness in the world!
Enjoy…

Fraser Island Destination Wedding - Sunshine Coast Photographers - Cherie & Marty
Cherie and Marty chose the one and only Kingfisher Bay Resort (Fraser Island) as the destination for their wedding. This was such a great choice on their part and an absolute pleasure to photograph.
This bride and groom hail from Sydney so they travelled a long way, as did their guests (and us from the Sunshine Coast!) to marry each other on Australia’s and the world’s largest sand island.
In all honesty, Kingfisher Bay Resort on Fraser Island is the venue we have photographed more wedding ceremonies at than any other venue in Australia and we absolutely love it!
This was one very special wedding with loads of tears including one from the groom which we have photographic evidence of (a little hint: it was when his bride was walking down the isle)! We can understand why as Cherie looked absolutely STUNNING!
The ceremony was super lovely and concluded with a sand ceremony. Then we (the bridal party and us photographer folk along with the boys from Trending Media Australia) all explored sunset beach and the surrounding areas taking some gorgeous photos along the way.
This awesome bride and groom chose the “dingo den” to host their reception. This
is a fantastic outdoor venue that is both private, spacious and features a fire pit for toasting those marshmallows. Cherie and Marty supplied all the necessary ingredients for S’mores which caused some very big grins from their guests - great idea! Oh and have a look at the knife they used to cut their cake, or should we say machete? FYI no one was harmed during the cutting of the cake.
The bride and groom’s first dance was quite possibly one of the best ever… in the world. Seriously. This dance was phenomenal and it was a privilege to watch let along photograph. EPIC beyond words.
We wish you all the love and happiness in the world Cherie and Marty!
Enjoy!

Fraser Island, Queensland Wedding - Tennille & Trent - Sunshine Coast Destination Photographers
Fraser Island put on a beautiful morning for Trent and Tennille's wedding day - until it poured with rain. Then it stopped. Then it rained a little more. Thankfully the rain then stopped for the bride and groom's stunning wedding ceremony on Sunset Beach.
The ceremony arbour was so beautiful with a touch of extravagence and framed their wedding perfectly.
After the ceremony, the congratulations were cut short when we were told more rain was going to arrive in 30 minutes. So we whisked the bridal party away for some photos and managed to capture some couple portraits then ran for cover when the rain fell once again.
We then were treated to a rain-free period at sunset for more bridal party and couple portraits on the Kingfisher Bay Resort Pier and again on Sunset Beach. Thank you Fraser Island for keeping those rain clouds away for this time.
The celebrations kicked on with an epicly stunning and sparkly reception. Tennille was in her absolute element amongst all the shimmer, shine and sparkle which represented her so perfectly.
The bride and groom were surrounded by an amazing bunch of their family and friends. One of the highlights was definitely Trent's grandpa who got the entire room laughing during his speech. And also THAT dress Tennille wore was so spectacular during their first dance.
We wish you all the happiness in the world Tennille and trent!

Gympie, Queensland, Australian Private Property Wedding - Megan & Rob
Megan & Rob decided to get married on their private property in Kia Ora (Gympie) and what a spectacular wedding it was! From the moment I laid eyes on the mountain where they were going to hold their ceremony I knew this was going to be one extraordinarily beautiful wedding.
A convoy of 4-wheel drives helped all the friends and family of the bride and groom up the hill to the picturesque ceremony location. We won't mention the trouble the groom had with his vehicle as that would be a little embarassing and one thing from his wedding day he would rather forget - sorry Rob!
Once everyone had gathered at the cinematic ceremony location, they were able to really savour the special moment of the bride and her Dad walking down the long, steep mountain aisle. Seeing the bride and groom standing next to each other and saying their vows on this hill really was out of this world. No matter where you looked there was an epic sweeping landscape - eye candy for the soul.
Many of Megan and Rob's family live on the properties surrounding theirs which gave the wedding a very warm and comforting feeling. There really was no better place for this great couple to marry at.
The bride and groom planted a tree after their stunning wedding ceremony where they can watch it grow, just like their love in the years to come. Then the bridal party and I explored the property for some portraits. There's a raw and beautiful rustic country feeling about these two and their surroundings - simply gorgeous.
The party kicked on at the Kia Ora Memorial Hall where the reception was held. There were some very funny speeches, absolutely beautiful food provided by Penfold's Catering of Noosa and plenty of twirls on the dance floor. Memories were made that will never be forgotton.
Well done Rob and Megan on hosting an outstanding wedding!
We wish you all the very best for your lives together as a married couple.
Enjoy...
