It may have been rainy but Emily and Matt’s Fraser Island (Kingfisher Bay Resort) wedding was absolutely beautiful. This dedicated, happy and positive bride and groom celebrated in an epic fashion with all of their nearest and dearest wedding guests.
Emily got ready with her 3 bridesmaids while Matt prepped himself with his 6 groomsmen. We do love a photography challenge with uneven bridal party numbers!
The stunning bride had a very moving first look with her Dad. What an absolutely amazing moment this was for this gorgeous daughter and father.
Matt was highly emotional when he finally got to see his stunning bride walking down the isle. It was a super special reunion for them both in front of all their family and friends. The confidence of this bride and groom and their love for each other was wonderful to witness. Their smiles and laughter did not stop throughout their wedding ceremony.
After the wedding, the rain stopped long enough for us to whisk the bridal party and the newly wedded bride and groom out to the Kingfisher Bay Resort pier for some portraits. We even got the chance to fly the drone for some aerial wedding photos, rain-free!
Emily and Matt were uproariously welcomed into their wedding reception by their guests. The night was filled with emotional speeches accented with tears, enthusiastic bouquet and garter tosses finishing with some enviable dance moves from some of the bridal party and the guests. What a day. What a night!
Congratulations Matt & Emily! We wish you all the love in the world!
Enjoy…

Fraser Island Destination Wedding - Sunshine Coast Photographers - Cherie & Marty
Cherie and Marty chose the one and only Kingfisher Bay Resort (Fraser Island) as the destination for their wedding. This was such a great choice on their part and an absolute pleasure to photograph.
This bride and groom hail from Sydney so they travelled a long way, as did their guests (and us from the Sunshine Coast!) to marry each other on Australia’s and the world’s largest sand island.
In all honesty, Kingfisher Bay Resort on Fraser Island is the venue we have photographed more wedding ceremonies at than any other venue in Australia and we absolutely love it!
This was one very special wedding with loads of tears including one from the groom which we have photographic evidence of (a little hint: it was when his bride was walking down the isle)! We can understand why as Cherie looked absolutely STUNNING!
The ceremony was super lovely and concluded with a sand ceremony. Then we (the bridal party and us photographer folk along with the boys from Trending Media Australia) all explored sunset beach and the surrounding areas taking some gorgeous photos along the way.
This awesome bride and groom chose the “dingo den” to host their reception. This
is a fantastic outdoor venue that is both private, spacious and features a fire pit for toasting those marshmallows. Cherie and Marty supplied all the necessary ingredients for S’mores which caused some very big grins from their guests - great idea! Oh and have a look at the knife they used to cut their cake, or should we say machete? FYI no one was harmed during the cutting of the cake.
The bride and groom’s first dance was quite possibly one of the best ever… in the world. Seriously. This dance was phenomenal and it was a privilege to watch let along photograph. EPIC beyond words.
We wish you all the love and happiness in the world Cherie and Marty!
Enjoy!

Pacific Harbour, Bribie Island Wedding - Stacey & Adam (Sunshine Coast Photographers)
Stacey and Adam held their wedding on beautiful Bribie Island at Pacific Harbour Golf Club (near Brisbane). They were surrounded by family and friends and held their two gorgeous children close throughout their special day.
After the wedding ceremony we hooned around the Pacific Harbour Golf Course on golf carts with the bridal party taking portraits, before hitting the beach with the elated bride and groom. Their beach wedding sunset was absolutely perfect and so romantic with the Glasshouse Mountains (The jewel of the Sunshine Coast) in the background.
The bride and groom's reception was packed with some heartfelt moments and loads of dance floor fun that really hit the roof when the nutbush started pumping out of the speakers. Stacey and her maid of honour had an absolute blast dancing to this followed straight away by the macarena!
We wish you so much happiness Stacey & Adam - you two lovely people.
Enjoy...

Coolum Beach & Point Arkwright (Yaroomba) Wedding - Sam & Jake
Sam and Jake decided to throw an engagement party at Coolum Surf Life Saving Club on The Sunshine Coast. With all the their family and friends gathered they surprised everyone and turned the day into their wedding!
Sam kept peeking over the balcony of her Coolum Caprice apartment but had to be careful no one she knew looked up and saw her wearing a wedding dress.
This was a stealth mission that worked an absolute treat. The Coolum SLSC was a great venue for their wedding with one of the most beautiful beaches in the world as the backdrop for their big day.
After the ceremony on the deck we took the bridal party down the road to Yaroomba Beach, beside Point Arkwright where we had a fun and highly entertaining portrait session. The bridal party were initially dropped in the wrong location, then there was a somewhat failed attempt of the groom popping a champagne cork, plenty of Mary Poppins jump-kicks, thumbs-up dancing and drone antics all within about 25 minutes - the shortest wedding portrait session we've ever had. Boy did we pack a lot in to such a short time.
We wish you all the happiness in the world Sam and Jake!
Enjoy the Coolum magic...
