Angela and Taidgh held their wedding on gorgeous Fraser Island, at Kingfisher Bay Resort. This multi award winning destination eco wedding resort created the perfect backdrop for these two adventurous, outdoor lovers to tie the knot.
The bride and groom both got ready in different locations to leave the big wedding dress reveal until Angela was walking down the isle.
The gorgeous bride looked breathtaking walking down the natural path to Sunset Beach (a must visit when on Fraser Island - what a destination!) where her groom was waiting in anticipation. Their wedding ceremony was so beautiful, marked by lovely vows and plenty of laughs!
Sealed with a kiss and signing of the marriage papers and certificate, this awesome bride and groom walked back down the isle and were showered by VERY enthusiastic petal throwers!
Post wedding ceremony we whisked the bridal party away after their group and family photos to various locations around Kingfisher Bay Resort. One location the newly married couple wanted to take photos at was on the pier. They got a member of their bridal party to drive the beloved jeep onto the end of the pier where we captured some beautiful, epic and spontaneous moments, with the moon too!
Laughter was a staple at this bride and groom’s wedding reception, held at the Dingo Den just down by the water. The speeches were hilarious and heartwarming all at the same time. The cake was definitely not your ordinary wedding cake. Wait until you see the photos of this beauty! Oh and the bouquet toss was nothing short of epic - what a BATTLE.
This was one very special and epic, fun-filled day for Angela and Taidgh - two very special people who are so very in love.
Congratulations again guys. We wish you all the love and happiness in the world!
Enjoy…

Fraser Island Destination Wedding - Sunshine Coast Photographers - Cherie & Marty
Cherie and Marty chose the one and only Kingfisher Bay Resort (Fraser Island) as the destination for their wedding. This was such a great choice on their part and an absolute pleasure to photograph.
This bride and groom hail from Sydney so they travelled a long way, as did their guests (and us from the Sunshine Coast!) to marry each other on Australia’s and the world’s largest sand island.
In all honesty, Kingfisher Bay Resort on Fraser Island is the venue we have photographed more wedding ceremonies at than any other venue in Australia and we absolutely love it!
This was one very special wedding with loads of tears including one from the groom which we have photographic evidence of (a little hint: it was when his bride was walking down the isle)! We can understand why as Cherie looked absolutely STUNNING!
The ceremony was super lovely and concluded with a sand ceremony. Then we (the bridal party and us photographer folk along with the boys from Trending Media Australia) all explored sunset beach and the surrounding areas taking some gorgeous photos along the way.
This awesome bride and groom chose the “dingo den” to host their reception. This
is a fantastic outdoor venue that is both private, spacious and features a fire pit for toasting those marshmallows. Cherie and Marty supplied all the necessary ingredients for S’mores which caused some very big grins from their guests - great idea! Oh and have a look at the knife they used to cut their cake, or should we say machete? FYI no one was harmed during the cutting of the cake.
The bride and groom’s first dance was quite possibly one of the best ever… in the world. Seriously. This dance was phenomenal and it was a privilege to watch let along photograph. EPIC beyond words.
We wish you all the love and happiness in the world Cherie and Marty!
Enjoy!

Sandstone Point Hotel, Bribie Island, Sunshine Coast Wedding - Shantelle & Todd
It was fate that Shantelle and Todd hosted their wedding ceremony and married at Sandstone Point Hotel, Bribie Island (Brisbane). The first ceremony venue they booked went bankrupt and left them with less than two months to find a new spot to replace their entire wedding. Sandstone Point Hotel suited this bride and groom perfectly. The giant tree they married under, the jetty with lights along the length of it and the underground cellar reception was just right for this pair.
Being the eldest child of 12, the groom's siblings dominated the dance floor wearing borrowed accessories from the photo booth. This lovely bunch certainly know how to have fun!
Congratulations Shantelle, Todd and little Archie! We wish you all the very best.
Enjoy...

Kingfisher Bay Resort, Fraser Island Destination Wedding - Gabrielle & Josh
This bride and groom held their destination wedding at Queensland's stunning Kingfisher Bay Resort, Fraser Island. Gabrielle and Josh's wedding was highly emotionally fuelled with tears galloping down many cheeks surrounding them. Their ceremony was heart-felt, intimate and set on Fraser Island's stunning Sunset Beach.
They had a little visitor pre-ceremony - a resident dingo who does not appear very often. From this point on, the tears flowed - in happiness and in love.
Thankfully after hours of searching for the keys to Gabrielle's prized and faithful car, they found them! So post-ceremony the bridal party walked over to the jetty where the bride's car was parked and enjoyed a very unique and creative portrait session.
Gab & Josh had their reception by the pool. This was relaxed, intimate and jam-packed full of laughs and a few more tears! It was evident there was so much love between the bride, groom and all of their family and friends from the warm hugs they constantly gave each other throughout the day. This was extremely beautiful to witness.
Enjoy this Fraser Island destination wedding beauty...
