This was one super special wedding which took place at one of Australia’s most gorgeous venues, Villa Botanica, Airlie Beach (The Whitsundays, Queensland, Australia).
The bride and groom brought their fur-baby Norman with them to share in their stunning day.
Erin and Matt were joined by so many of their loved wins which is a testament to how much love surrounds them. They have the most amazing tribe of friends and family around them who were an absolute pleasure to photograph and certainly made for an awesome destination wedding party!
The wedding ceremony was so beautiful and kicked off with their awesome pet, Norman, running down the leafy isle towards his Dad who he hadn’t seen all day. That was one very special moment to start the ceremony proceedings.
After the ceremony we explored the beautiful Villa Botanica property with the bride, groom, bridesmaids and groomsmen. The cactarium was a favourite and one spot the bride and groom definitely wanted photos in. We also walked down to the ocean where we were able to take some stunning photos using our trusty drone.
The reception was one of if not the most beautiful we have ever seen! It was a seriously amazing setup and the backdrop, breathtaking.
Some hilarious speeches and crazy dancing topped off this once in a lifetime day for this now happily married couple.
We wish you all the love in the world Erin, Matt & Norman!
Big Love,
Jesse & Mikala

Fraser Island Destination Wedding - Sunshine Coast Photographers - Cherie & Marty
Cherie and Marty chose the one and only Kingfisher Bay Resort (Fraser Island) as the destination for their wedding. This was such a great choice on their part and an absolute pleasure to photograph.
This bride and groom hail from Sydney so they travelled a long way, as did their guests (and us from the Sunshine Coast!) to marry each other on Australia’s and the world’s largest sand island.
In all honesty, Kingfisher Bay Resort on Fraser Island is the venue we have photographed more wedding ceremonies at than any other venue in Australia and we absolutely love it!
This was one very special wedding with loads of tears including one from the groom which we have photographic evidence of (a little hint: it was when his bride was walking down the isle)! We can understand why as Cherie looked absolutely STUNNING!
The ceremony was super lovely and concluded with a sand ceremony. Then we (the bridal party and us photographer folk along with the boys from Trending Media Australia) all explored sunset beach and the surrounding areas taking some gorgeous photos along the way.
This awesome bride and groom chose the “dingo den” to host their reception. This
is a fantastic outdoor venue that is both private, spacious and features a fire pit for toasting those marshmallows. Cherie and Marty supplied all the necessary ingredients for S’mores which caused some very big grins from their guests - great idea! Oh and have a look at the knife they used to cut their cake, or should we say machete? FYI no one was harmed during the cutting of the cake.
The bride and groom’s first dance was quite possibly one of the best ever… in the world. Seriously. This dance was phenomenal and it was a privilege to watch let along photograph. EPIC beyond words.
We wish you all the love and happiness in the world Cherie and Marty!
Enjoy!

Beerwah Forest Engagement (Sunshine Coast) - Jenna & Ryan
Jenna & Ryan are hosting their destination wedding in New Zealand but decided to have their engagement shoot in the gorgeous Beerwah Forest on the Sunshine Coast.
It was a smashing warm and sunny day out in the woods for their engagement session. Despite the mosquito attack on all of us (even Jenna and I who don't usually get bitten!) we had an awesome afternoon exploring the pine trees and documenting the love between this soon-to-be bride and groom.
Enjoy...
