It was fate that Shantelle and Todd hosted their wedding ceremony and married at Sandstone Point Hotel, Bribie Island (Brisbane). The first ceremony venue they booked went bankrupt and left them with less than two months to find a new spot to replace their entire wedding. Sandstone Point Hotel suited this bride and groom perfectly. The giant tree they married under, the jetty with lights along the length of it and the underground cellar reception was just right for this pair.
Being the eldest child of 12, the groom's siblings dominated the dance floor wearing borrowed accessories from the photo booth. This lovely bunch certainly know how to have fun!
Congratulations Shantelle, Todd and little Archie! We wish you all the very best.

Yandina Station, Sunshine Coast (Australian) Autumn Wedding - Lisa & Dave
This warm and generous couple hosted their wedding day at the one and only Yandina Station. Lisa and Dave are from a small town called Gayndah, just west of Hervey Bay and Fraser Island and so the country chic feel of Yandina Station suited them perfectly.
They preened and prepared themselves at Coolum Caprice with epic views of Coolum Beach.
The ceremony was outside under the Moreton Bay Fig Tree where they so emotionally said "I do" to each other. The tears could not be held back, especially from Lisa's gorgeous bridesmaids. Emotions ran high when the bride and groom exchanged vows, rings and then sealed the deal with a kiss. The emotions quickly turned into laughter post ceremony with hugs of congratulations and celebration all around.
We explored the grounds with the bridal party for some photographic portraits. Dave and his groomsmen were definitely a highlight when they took hold of the decorative umbrellas that were meant for the bridesmaids - or were they?
The reception rolled on in the old dairy at Yandina Station with new flooring which looks outstanding and was an awesome platform for this happy, humble duo's celebration dinner. The speeches from Lisa and Dave's loved ones were beyond heartwarming. But the dancing... well that's another story. This bunch of Gayndahnians know how to stomp their way around a dance floor. Fun, happy, silly, crazy. None of these words can possibly describe the awesome dancing styles that took place in the old dairy of Yandina Station on Sunday, April 2, 2017. There's no doubt this particular evening will go down in the history books as one of the most epic nights of dancing ever seen at Yandina Station.
We wish you all the love, happiness and everything in between for your lives together Lisa and Dave.

Autumn Kingfisher Bay Resort, Fraser Island Destination Wedding - Emily & Tom
The forecast for rain, rain and more rain was not so welcome at this bride and groom's Fraser Island destination wedding. Nevertheless the emotion of Emily and Tom's wedding rendered the weather forecast meaningless. Tom's reaction to his bride walking down the isle was without a doubt one of the most openly heartfelt moments we've witnessed at a wedding.
Thankfully the rain subsided just after their ceremony finished so the bride and groom and all their guests could head to the beach for some portraits. The wind died down enough to bring out our trusty drone for some aerial photography before heading into the lush bushland surrounding Kingfisher Bay Resort.
The deck reception looked so stunning! There were loads of games like giant jenga, twister, giant pickup sticks, giant snakes and ladders - SO. MUCH. FUN. Oh and instead of a sweet wedding cake this awesome bride and groom chose to have a layered cake made with all kinds of cheeses. Brilliant.
Despite the rain we don't believe Emily and Tom could have hoped for a better wedding day.
We wish you both all the very best and the happiest of days, weeks and years together!

Ocean View Estates Wedding, Mount Mee (Sunshine Coast, Brisbane) - Kaitley & Steve
From the moment we met with Kaitley, we knew her Ocean View Estates wedding with Steve was going to be very special. This bride talked of her dream wedding day being relaxed and intimate with just a small group of family and friends surrounding her and her groom. Kaitley also said she wanted to take time out to fully soak in the present moment here and there throughout their wedding. This is exactly what this kind and generous couple's wedding day comprised of.
Ocean View Estates Winery in Mount Mee (between the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane) was such a spectacular yet very intimate venue for the bride and groom to say "I do." We explored the grounds together post-ceremony taking portraits by the beautiful dam, the small bridge and of course through the grape vines.
The reception restaurant at Ocean View Estates is absolutely gorgeous and served high class meals to all who attended the wedding, naturally accompanied by the venue's very own wines. The deck was adorned with fairy lights and created a magical backdrop for the first dance of the lovely duo.
We wish you all the love and happiness in the world Kaitley and Steve!
