Cherie and Marty chose the one and only Kingfisher Bay Resort (Fraser Island) as the destination for their wedding. This was such a great choice on their part and an absolute pleasure to photograph.
This bride and groom hail from Sydney so they travelled a long way, as did their guests (and us from the Sunshine Coast!) to marry each other on Australia’s and the world’s largest sand island.
In all honesty, Kingfisher Bay Resort on Fraser Island is the venue we have photographed more wedding ceremonies at than any other venue in Australia and we absolutely love it!
This was one very special wedding with loads of tears including one from the groom which we have photographic evidence of (a little hint: it was when his bride was walking down the isle)! We can understand why as Cherie looked absolutely STUNNING!
The ceremony was super lovely and concluded with a sand ceremony. Then we (the bridal party and us photographer folk along with the boys from Trending Media Australia) all explored sunset beach and the surrounding areas taking some gorgeous photos along the way.
This awesome bride and groom chose the “dingo den” to host their reception. This
is a fantastic outdoor venue that is both private, spacious and features a fire pit for toasting those marshmallows. Cherie and Marty supplied all the necessary ingredients for S’mores which caused some very big grins from their guests - great idea! Oh and have a look at the knife they used to cut their cake, or should we say machete? FYI no one was harmed during the cutting of the cake.
The bride and groom’s first dance was quite possibly one of the best ever… in the world. Seriously. This dance was phenomenal and it was a privilege to watch let along photograph. EPIC beyond words.
We wish you all the love and happiness in the world Cherie and Marty!
Enjoy!

Being wedding photographers means the world to us and we believe it to be an absolute honour when chosen to document a couple's wedding in our own unique way.
Our trusty drone has played a very important part in how we capture weddings and will only continue to grow as being an integral part of our photography in 2018. The great thing about our drone service is that it's free with every wedding package we offer - YAY!
We want to say a massive thank you to all of the wonderful couples we have created with this year - it's been a complete honour to be your wedding photographers.
We're already looking forward to photographing weddings on the Sunshine Coast, throughout Queensland, The Whitsundays, Melbourne, Ireland and beyond in 2018.
We wish you all the love and happiness possible for next year and many years to come!
Please enjoy our 2017 Best of Gallery and we look forward to seeing you in 2018!

OUTRIGGER, FIJI TRASH THE DRESS - SUNSHINE COAST WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Emma and Dylan travelled all the way from the Sunshine Coast to Fiji for their spectacular wedding so we thought why not make the most of it and do a trash the dress session.
The morning after the bride and groom's wedding we headed out to the beautiful crystal clear beach water in front of the Fiji Outrigger Resort and trashed that dress and suit.
It. Was. Awesome.
Enjoy...

Kingfisher Bay, Fraser Island Destination Wedding - Jennifer & Brenten (Sunshine Coast Photographers)
The rain cleared just in time for this lovely bride and groom's Fraser Island destination wedding at Kingfisher Bay Resort.
Jenny and Brenten regularly camp at Fraser Island with their friends so this was the perfect choice for their wedding day. Brenten and his groomsmen enjoyed some fishing off the pier while Jenny and her bridesmaids were getting their hair and makeup done.
The bride and groom's ceremony was so serene and absolutely beautiful. The love in Brenten's eyes for his bride was so special to witness and to photograph for them to keep forever.
The bridal party and I took off into the Fraser Island bushland for some photos before taking just the bride and groom along the beach for some couple portraits. We then hit the pier for a few drone photos followed by some stunning sunset images. Jenny and Brenten were treated to an awesome romantic sunset for the very first evening as a married couple.
Celebrations kicked on in the dingo den with speeches, a wedding buffet, cake cutting and a gorgeous moonlit first dance. Once this rad bunch got to dancing on the first dance floor they all showed their twirling skills off. I've never photographed a wedding where so many twirls occurred within such a short space of time - it must have been a guinness world record... surely! Love your work family and friends - and of course the bride and groom!
I wish you a lifetime of absolute love and happiness Jenny and Brenten :)
Enjoy!
